Port Szczecin

The Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority has signed a cooperation contract with a German ferry operator TT-Line. Under the cooperation with the Ports Authority, the ferry operator plans to launch a new ferry service between ports of Świnoujście, Poland, and Trelleborg, Sweden.

Preliminary calculations have confirmed expectations regarding 2012 cargo handling in the ports of Szczecin and Świnoujście. The level of cargo handling is similar to that of the previous year, a year which was considered record breaking.

On 1st January 2013, the Border Veterinary Inspections in Świnoujście and Hrebennem ceased to operate as independent budgetary entities.
